This is a test of the adaptive subdivision and micropolygon disp feature in Blender.
Might be a little late to the party, but I wanted to give it a try. Let me know what your thoughts are!
Took 15 min to render this scene at 500 samples with a little over one million vertices (because of the grass) and only used
2 GB of memory compared to how much it would have used doing this the old way. Very grateful to the developers at the Blender Institute and around the world for always adding great features! Thank you.
